How much higher are McDonald's prices going to go?

The theoretical answer is “as high as people will pay”.

And so the answer is still the same as the theoretical one, except with tons of analysis behind the pricing decisions.

The actual answer gets into some pretty high tech “big data” analysis of new product sales, existing repeat sales, promotional sales, seasonal product sales and regional variations…

Ive been pretending to be okay and acting as normal as possible, but Im actually completely heartbroken after a recent breakup. Its painful and really affecting me, to the point where I cant concentrate at work, Ive lost my appetite, I cant sleep, and It feels as if my whole world has been turned upside down. I loved him so much. He said so many cruel things to me and it made me realize he must not have loved me the way I loved him, or he wouldnt have said such horrible things. How do I handle the heartbreak and why cant I accept that he didnt love me and just forget about him?

McDonalds is in business to make money, making cheap burgers is just the means to that goal.

The amount of data collected, all the way down to timestamps between sales and order completion, is incredible. Why sell a Big Mac for $4 if someone will pay $5? They will raise prices until the sales rates drop (or show a trend toward maybe dropping… for example consumers buy fewer add-on products like cookies or French fries etc)
